MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Volleyball Players of the Week. Marley Manning of Point was named SSAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Emily Martin of William Carey was named SSAC Setter of the Week and Eva Blatchford of Mobile was named SSAC Defender of the Week.

Attacker: Marley Manning (Point – FR – OH – Milton, Fla.)
• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Manning hit .260 on the weekend to lead the Skyhawks, putting up 49 kills to start her collegiate career
• Had six aces and scored 4.9 points per set

Setter: Emily Martin (William Carey – FR – S – Slidell, La.)
• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Martin averaged just under six assists per set while working in a 6-2 system
• Recorded eight blocks, 18 kills and 33 digs

Defender: Eva Blatchford (Mobile – FR – OH – Billings, Mont.)
• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Blatchford recorded 11 solo blocks in her first collegiate weekend
• Tallied 16 digs to help Mobile to a 3-1 start to the season
