MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Volleyball Players of the Week. Kennedy Campbell of Xavier was named Attacker of the Week, Olivia Kelly of Faulkner earned Setter of the Week and Evelyn Araujo of William Carey got Defender of the Week.
 
Attacker: Kennedy Campbell (Xavier – JR – RS – Atlanta, Ga.)

• This is her first career weekly honor
• Campbell produced 28 kills (5.6 k/s) in a 3-2 victory over Loyola
• She attacked at a .400 clip

 
Setter: Olivia Kelly (Faulkner – JR – S – Alabaster, Ala.)

• This is her first career weekly honor
• Kelly averaged 6.85 assists per set in a 2-1 week for the Eagles while operating in a 6-2 system
• She also chipped in with 10 service aces and 2.3 digs/set. Her 35 assists v. Pensacola Christian and Huntingdon set a new career best

 
Defender: Evelyn Araujo (William Carey – SR – L – Sao Paulo, Brazil)

• This is her first career weekly honor
• Araujo posted 28 digs in a 3-2 victory over Mobile, good for a 5.6 digs per set average
• She also added a pair of aces
