MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025-26 SSAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Karri Noel of Xavier University of Louisiana was named SSAC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Kameron Loyd of Xavier University of Louisiana was named SSAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The awards are for the week of Jan. 19-25.
 
Track: Karri Noel (Xavier - FR)

• This is his first-career weekly honor
• Noel placed second out of 20 runners in the 400m with a time of 50.65
• Noel also competed on the 4x400m relay team, which clocked in at 3:29.01

 
Field: Kameron Loyd (Xavier – SO – Dallas, Texas)

• This is his first-career indoor honor
• Loyd finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.82m
