MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025-26 SSAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week. Barnabas Aggerh of William Carey was named SSAC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Avery Abram of William Carey was named SSAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The awards are for the week of Jan. 12-18.
 
Track: Barnabas Aggerh (William Carey – JR – Accra, Ghana)

• This is his fifth-career weekly indoor honor and eighth overall with three outdoor honors previously
• Aggerh won the 60m with a time of 6.57 at the Commodore Invite in a field of 51 athletes
• The time leads the SSAC and NAIA this season

 
Field: Avery Abram (William Carey – Tylertown, Miss.)

• This is his first-career indoor honor
• Abram won the high jump with a mark of 2.10m at the Samford Open in a field of 21 athletes
• His mark leads the SSAC and NAIA this season
