MOBILE, Ala. – Day one of the 2025 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Tennis National Championships is in the books, with five SSAC teams set to compete in Wednesday’s second round action.
All three SSAC women’s teams received byes to Wednesday’s round, while a pair of men’s teams competed Tuesday. Middle Georgia dropped the doubles point, but bounced back to beat Morningside in a matchup that featured three singles matches that went to three sets. The Knights won all three of those matches, including Daniel Garcia winning 0-6, 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1.
All matchups are being held at the Mobile Tennis Center.
