2025 Women's Bowling Scholar-Athlete Team & Scholar-Athlete of the Year Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 Barnes & Noble College Women’s Bowling Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year. 
 
SCAD Savannah’s Lara Kurt was named 2025 Barnes & Noble College Women’s Bowling Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The senior User Experience (UX) Design major boasts a 4.0 GPA. She was also named SSAC Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference and Third-Team NAIA All-American.

Additional Notes
  • To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
  • Graduate students are not eligible, and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
  • All athletes on the squad boast GPAs over 3.68, with Kurt (4.0), Yuzuriha (3.96) and Geiwitz (3.91) leading the way
  • Yuzuriha and Cheesman earned NAIA All-America honors, while King was also a First-Team All-Conference selection
