SCAD Savannah Claims 2025 SSAC Women's Bowling Championship

SAVANNAH, Ga. – SCAD Savannah rolled to the 2025 SSAC Women’s Bowling Championship, taking down second seed Milligan 2-0 in the title game.
 
The Bees won the team games 1,055 – 976 with Lara Kurt (252) and Grace Bringham (224) leading the way. Milligan got a 244 from Emily Cheesman and 212 from Allison Robbins. SCAD then took the baker games 762-644.
 
Match 4: Milligan def. Stillman 4-0 – The Buffaloes posted high games of 166 in the best of seven baker games
 
Match 6: SCAD Savannah def. SCAD Atlanta 2-1 – SCAD Atlanta won the team games 939-892 with Maria Hernandez bowling a 209, while SCAD Savannah bounced back to take the four baker games 825-755. The Bees of SCAD Savannah then claimed three-of-four baker games to win it
 
Match 7: Milligan def. Mobile 4-3 – The Buffaloes were down 3-2, but took the final two games, including 217-164 in the last one
 
Match 8: Milligan def. SCAD Atlanta 4.5-3.5 – The Buffaloes held on in a tight back-and-forth contest, taking the deciding game 236-181
