2026 SSAC Women's Bowling Scholar-Athlete Team & Scholar-Athlete of the Year Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2026 SSAC Women’s Bowling Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
SCAD Savannah’s Carly Zuklin was named 2026 SSAC Women’s Bowling Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The junior graphic design major posted a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. She also earned First-Team All-Conference honors and Third-Team NAIA All-America honors.

Additional Notes
  • Mendones also carries a 4.0 GPA, while Geiwitz has a 3.94 mark
  • Weeks was named NAIA and SSAC Player of the Year, while Cheesman joined her and Zuklin as All-America honorees
  • To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
  • Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
