MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2023-24 season marks the 25^th year of competition for the Southern States Athletic Conference. The SSAC started out as the Georgia Alabama Carolina Conference in 1999-00. 
 
Throughout the rest of the season, the SSAC will look back at some of the highlights from those 25 years, which have featured 38 team national championships, 63 individual national championships and 41 team runner-up finishes.
