MONTGOMERY, Ala. – SCAD Savannah (Ga.) swept the SSAC Men’s & Women’s Bowler of the Week honors, with Tyrell Ingalls being named SSAC Men’s Bowler of the Week and Lara Kurt being named SSAC Women’s Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The awards are based on performance for the week of Jan. 19-25.
Tyrell Ingalls (SCAD Savannah – JR – Grand Island, N.Y.)
- This is his first honor
- Ingalls finished 3rd individually at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Classic with 1,194 total pins for an average of 238.8 pins
- He helped the Bees to a team championship out of 71 competing squads
Lara Kurt (SCAD Savannah – SO – Leland, N.C.)
- This is her second honor
- She finished 11th individually at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Classic with 1,038 total pins and an average of 207.6
- The sophomore helped her team to a fifth-place finish out of 62 teams
