MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The final Learfield Directors’ Cup standings were released for 2024-25, with a pair of Southern States Athletic Conference schools placing in the top 10.
William Carey earned three third-place finishes (men’s soccer, men’s outdoor track & field, women’s outdoor track & field) and scored in 18 different sports.
Life finished first in women’s wrestling, second in men’s wrestling and women’s outdoor track & field, fourth in men’s and women’s indoor track & field and fifth in women’s lacrosse.
Scoring
Overall, 13 sports are counted in the final NAIA standings, four of which must be men’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s basketball and women’s volleyball. The next highest (9 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
