- Both teams are part of a logjam battling for the top spot in the SSAC standings. Loyola is tied for first with Blue Mountain at 6-1 in SSAC play, while Mobile is 6-2 and the Crusaders are right behind at 5-3
- For Loyola, Emily Sheperis is hitting .308 with 2.25 kills/s and 0.8 blocks/s, while Simone Tyson leads with 3.1 kills/s and Kailyn O’Neal averages 4.9 assists/s
