MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The NAIA released the qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship Opening Round, with Loyola and Mobile set to represent the SSAC in the championship field.
 
Twenty-four NAIA Opening Round matches will take place at campus sites on Nov. 22, with those winners advancing to the final site of the NAIA National Championship Dec. 3-9 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Loyola v. #16 St. Thomas (Fla.) | Nov. 22 | 1:00 PM EST | Miami Gardens, Fla.

• Loyola (29-8) won the SSAC Tournament Championship to receive an automatic bid
• St. Thomas won the Sun Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships and boasts a 25-4 record
• The teams matched up in August with Loyola winning 3-1 (25-27, 25-21, 25-20, 25-13) in a neutral site contest. Loyola’s Ivana De Carvalho Peixe had 14 kills on a .333 hitting percentage
