MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Men’s Soccer Players of the Week. Enrico Burigotto of Life was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Tibo Jacobs of Life was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Offensive: Enrico Burigotto (Life – SR – FWD – Portogruaro, Italy)
- This is his first-career weekly honor
- Burigotto tallied pair of goals in a 2-0 week for Life
- He scored in a 2-0 win over No. 11 Keiser and netted the game-winner in a 1-0 win over RV St. Thomas
Defensive: Tibo Jacobs (Life – DEF - Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany)
- This is his first-career weekly honor
- Jacobs played all 180 minutes on the back line as Life picked up 2-0 and 1-0 shutout victories over No. 11 Keiser and RV St. Thomas’
- Life held St. Thomas to only two shots on frame
