MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week. Millie Rayner of UT Southern was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Millie Wilson of Andrew was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Offensive: Millie Rayner (UT Southern – SO – FWD/DEF – High Halstow, England)
- This is her third-career weekly honor
- Rayner totaled eight points on four goals in a 2-0 week for UT Southern
- She scored a goal in a 3-2 win over No. 12 Lindsey Wilson and added a hat trick in a conference win over Blue Mountain Christian
Defensive: Millie Wilson (Andrew – SO – DEF/GK – Sylvester, Ga.)
- This is her first-career weekly honor
- Forced into action as a goalkeeper due to injuries, Wilson totaled 23 saves and allowed only one goal in 65 minutes of action across two SSAC games
- That included 20 saves in a scoreless tie against ABAC
