2026 SSAC Baseball Postseason Scenarios

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Only one weekend of SSAC baseball regular season action remains, and there is still plenty to be determined with postseason seeds.
 
2026 SSAC Baseball Championship
The four-day championship runs April 29 – May 2 at Rockabillys Stadium in Jackson, Tenn. The top eight teams in the standings qualify and will be divided into two pools of four.

Race for Regular Season Championship
ABAC, Thomas, Loyola, William Carey and Mobile are all mathematically alive in the race for the top seed with one series remaining. ABAC needs two wins to lock up the title as they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker with Thomas.
 
ABAC: 1-2 v. WCU, 2-1 v. LOY, 2-1 v. THO, 1-2 v. MOB
THO: 1-2 v. LOY, 1-2 v. ABAC, 2-1 v. WCU, 3-0 v. MOB

Battle for the Final Postseason Spot
Blue Mountain, Point and Brewton-Parker are vying for the 8th and final seed and all three end the season against teams fighting for the regular season title.

Tiebreakers
(1) Head to head competition, (2) Winning percentage of tied teams against common SSAC opponents, (3) Latest NAIA National Ranking and (4) a coin toss by the commissioner.
