MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Baseball Players of the Week. Dylan Davis of Abraham Baldwin was named SSAC Baseball Player of the Week and Kade Haywood of Abraham Baldwin was named SSAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The awards are for the week of March 16-22.
 
Player: Dylan Davis (Abraham Baldwin – FR – OF – Cordele, Ga.)

• This is his first-career weekly honor
• Davis hit .350 and slugged .850, while totaling seven hits, five XBH and nine RBIs in a 4-1 week for the Stallions
• He had a hit in every game and drove in multiple runs in three games, including going 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs in the finale v. Thomas

 
Pitcher: Kade Haywood (Abraham Baldwin – SR – RHP – Colquitt, Ga.)

• This is his first-career weekly honor
• Haywood tossed a nine-inning complete game in a 4-1 win at Thomas
• The righty struck out three and allowed only an unearned run
