MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Southern States Athletic Conference women’s and men’s soccer student-athletes Lilja Olafsdottir (Life) and Asaph Silveira (Faulkner) earned 2025 CSC Academic All-America honors.
Olafsdottir earned First Team honors after posting a 3.91 GPA as a biopsychology major. The senior defender earned SSAC First-Team All-Conference honors and helped the Running Eagles advance to the final site of the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship.
Silveira posted a 3.64 GPA as an exercise science major. The junior midfielder earned SSAC First-Team All-Conference honors and helped Faulkner to the first national tournament appearance in program history.
Selected by College Sports Communicators, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average.
