MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
William Carey’s Livia Pertl was named 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The junior business administration major posted a 3.54 GPA. On the field, the defender was named SSAC Defensive Player of the Year and earned First-Team NAIA All-America honors.

- Diaz and Mills lead with a 4.0 GPA, while Gutierrez (3.95) and Kelm (3.88) are next on the list
- Everyone on the team earned All-Conference honors, with Gutierrez being named Newcomer of the Year and Pallas Padilla earning Golden Gloves honors. Mesa was named SSAC Championship MVP
- To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
- Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
