SSAC Women's Soccer Postseason Scenarios

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – One week of SSAC women’s soccer regular season action remains, with teams vying for postseason positioning ahead of the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Championship.

The top eight teams qualify for postseason play, with the opening round set to take place at campus sites Thursday, Oct. 30 – Saturday, Nov. 1. The semifinals and finals will take place at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex in Montgomery, Ala. Nov. 6 and 8. 
 
What’s Locked In?
The eight teams advancing to the tournament are decided and William Carey, Life and UT Southern are assured of a chance to host in the first round.
 
Regular Season Champion
William Carey and Life are currently tied, but the Crusaders own the head-to-head and have two games left to play, compared to one for the Running Eagles.
 
No. 4 Seed
Mobile (16 points), Point (15 points) and Dalton State (15 points) are fighting for the chance to host in round one. Mobile and Point each have two games left, including facing each other, while Dalton State closes with Life. 
 
Point/Dalton State/Thomas
Those three teams split head-to-head matchups this year and all could finish pending the final contests. Current goal differentials are Point (+2), Dalton State (+6) and Thomas (0).
