MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Kamilia Tayebi of UT Southern was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Maggie Rickerd of Dalton State was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Oct. 6-11.
Offensive: Kamilia Tayebi (UT Southern – JR – DEF – Casablanca, Morocco)
- This is her fourth-career weekly honor, but first offensive honor
- Tayebi tallied five goals across two conference wins, including netting a pair of game-winners
- She scored twice in a 4-1 win over Point and recorded a hat trick in a 4-1 win at Faulkner
Defensive: Maggie Rickerd (Dalton State – FR – GK – Chattanooga, Tenn.)
- This is her first-career honor
- Rickerd collected two shutout victories on the week, totaling 10 saves
- Shre posted nine saves in a 1-0 win over Thomas
