MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Natoya Atkinson of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Argentina Estrada of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Sept. 22-28.
 
Offensive: Natoya Atkinson (William Carey – JR – FWD – Kingston, Jamaica)

• This is her first-career weekly honor
• Atkinson totaled 13 points on five goals and three assists in a 2-0 conference week for William Carey
• The junior produced two goals and one assist against No. 16 UT Southern and three goals and two helpers v. BMCU

 
Defensive: Argentina Estrada (William Carey – JR – DEF – Cancun, Mexico)

• This is her first-career honor
• Estrada led a WCU defense that allowed only one goal and three shots on frame across two wins
• That includes holding No. 16 UT Southern to one goal in an 8-1 victory. Estrada added one goal and two assists on the offensive end
