MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19. Ivana De Carvalho Peixe of Loyola was named SSAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Kora Wilson of Blue Mountain Christian was named SSAC Volleyball Defender of the Week and Reanna Brown of Blue Mountain Christian was named SSAC Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Attacker: Ivana De Carvalho Peixe (Loyola – SR – RS)
- This is her first-career honor
- The senior hit .480 on the week, including a Loyola season-high .727 against Point
- She averaged 2.5 kills per set, while adding a pair of blocks in each match as the Wolf Pack went 2-0
Defender: Kora Wilson (Blue Mountain Christian – SR – L – Marion, Ark.)
- This is her third-career honor
- Wilson averaged 6.4 digs per set in a pair of Topper victories to go along with five aces and no reception errors
- She totaled 33 digs in a 3-1 win over UT Southern
Setter: Reanna Brown (Blue Mountain Christian – SR – S – Trenton, Tenn.)
- This is her seventh-career honor
- Brown averaged 6.5 assists and 2.2 digs per set as the Toppers went 2-0
- She posted 24 assists and seven digs in a four-set win over UT Southern
