MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Sergej Misic of Dalton State was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Louis Hester of UT Southern was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Oct. 6-11.
Offensive: Sergej Misic (Dalton State – JR – FWD – Serbia)
- This is his third honor this season
- Misic tallied four goals across two wins for the top-ranked Roadrunners
- He recorded a hat trick in a 3-1 win over Brewton-Parker and added a goal in a 2-2 tie v. Thomas
Defensive: Louis Hester (UT Southern – SR – GK – High Wycombe, England)
- This is his second-straight honor
- Hester totaled 13 saves and allowed only two scores
- He made eight stops in a 1-1 tie with Faulkner
