MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Men’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Santiago Molina of William Carey was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Sam MacDonald of Mobile was named SSAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Sept. 22-28.
Offensive: Santiago Molina (William Carey – SO – FWD - Estella-Lizarra, Spain)
- This is his first-career honor
- Molina tallied three goals across a pair of SSAC victories for the Crusaders
- He capped the week with a pair of goals in a 4-1 win over Blue Mountain Christian
Defensive: Sam MacDonald (Mobile – JR – GK – Dunfermline, Scotland)
- This is his first-career honor
- Helped Mobile bounce back with a shutout win over UT Southern
- MacDonald totaled six saves in the contest
