MONTGOMERY, Ala. – After two days of 2026 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round action, William Carey sits one win away from advancing to the NAIA Baseball World Series.
Abraham Baldwin, Faulkner and Loyola all saw their seasons come to an end.
The Crusaders will face either Bryan, Missouri Baptist or Cumberlands May 13 at 3:30 pm, with their opponent having to win twice and WCU needing to win only once.
William Carey won in walk-off fashion with DeeJay Booth singling home a pair in the bottom of the ninth.
