MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2026 SSAC Women’s Basketball Championship semifinals featured a pair of upsets and will set the table for No. 3 UT Southern and No. 4 William Carey to battle in the title game Saturday at 4 p.m. CST at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala.

#4 William Carey def. #1 Loyola 69-61
- The Crusaders got 13 points from Brooklyn Cuevas and 10 points and four rebounds from Jenna Garriga
- Caitlin Travis led Loyola with 20 points, while Alissa O’Dell had 11 points and 10 boards
- WCU knocked down 42% from 3-point range (10-of-24) and forced 16 turnovers to overcome Loyola winning the rebounding battle 39-29
#3 UT Southern def. #2 Faulkner 81-67
- Ashley Dickey led UT Southern with 25 points and seven steals, while Mycala Carney added 20 points on 4-of-9 shooting from 3-point range
- Faulkner got 16 points from Ella Jane Connell and 13 points and seven boards from Morgan Holland-DeWitt
- The Firehawks forced 19 turnovers and shot 11-of-33 from 3-point range
