MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the SSAC Softball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Lilli Robertson of William Carey was named SSAC Softball Player of the Week and Emily Proctor of Middle Georgia was named SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
The awards are based on performance for the week of March 17-23.
Lilli Robertson (William Carey – SR – INF – Sumrall, Miss.)
- This is her first-career weekly honor
- Robertson hit .647 and posted a .714 OBP, while totaling 11 hits, seven runs and nine RBIs in a six-game week
- She had three multi-hit games, including going 4-for-5 with four RBIs in game two v. LSU Alexandria and 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored in game one v. Point
Emily Proctor (Middle Georgia – SR – P – Land O Lakes, Fla.)
- This is her first-career weekly honor
- Proctor went 3-0 with a 0.33 ERA and 0.57 WHIP, while fanning 31 and walking only two across 21 innings
- She set a new program record with 14 strikeouts in a complete-game, two-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over UT Southern
