SAVANNAH, Ga. – Day one of the 2025 SSAC Men’s Bowling Championship featured four matches, with top seeds SCAD Savannah and Milligan remaining unbeaten.
 
The double-elimination championship concludes Saturday at Bowlero Savannah. 
 
Match 1: #4 Mobile def. #5 Blue Mountain 2-0 – Mobile won the team game 826-735, with Sam Dippel bowling a 183. The Rams then took the baker games 700-591. 
 
Match 2: #3 SCAD Atlanta def. #6 Stillman 2-0 – The Bees won the team game 1,101 – 730, with Christian Knowles bowling a 259. SCAD Atlanta then won the baker games 787-549.
 
Match 3: #1 SCAD Savannah def. #4 Mobile 2-1 – SCAD Savannah won the team games 1,071 – 801 with Julian Salinas bowling a 247. Mobile then bounced back to take the four baker games 801-779 to force a best of five baker games. SCAD Savannah won those 3-0.
 
Match 4: #2 Milligan def. #3 SCAD Atlanta 2-0 – The Buffaloes won the team games 1,088 – 967 with Aiden Bailey bowling a 253. Milligan then took the baker games 836 to 692.

Tournament Format
Winners’ Bracket: Consists of mini mega matches: 1 traditional team game followed by 4 baker games total (2 on first lane, 2 on opposite lane). If overall score is 1-1, a best of 5 baker match will be played.
 
Losers’ Bracket: Best of 7 baker match play. If there are byes required for higher seeded teams to due uneven number of teams for bracket play, practice lanes will be available as needed, but no practice after the last ball is thrown in the 10^th for one team.
