MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2025 Southern States Athletic Conference men’s soccer award winners were announced Wednesday evening. The individual awards were dominated by Life’s Andrei Apostu and William Carey’s Jamie Barry.
Mobile’s Joe McMahon and Dalton State’s Jaime Mendiola are the lone repeat first-team selections, while Faulkner’s Leo Freire was a second-team honoree last season.
Taking home four individual honors, Apostu leads the SSAC with 17 goals, with five multi-goal games. Barry leads the way with an .887 save percentage, allowing only seven goals across 14 starts this season.
