MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Joey Jones of Mobile was named SSAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week and Kristina Stojanovic of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. The awards are based on performance for the week of Oct. 13-19.
Joey Jones (Mobile – SR – Mobile, Ala.)
- This is his eighth all-time honor
- Jones finished 5th out of 214 runners at the 8K Watson Collegiate Classic
- He finished with a time of 24:55.5 in the race
Kristina Stojanovic (William Carey – JR – Serbia)
- This is her fourth honor this year
- The junior finished 5th out of 172 runners at the 6K Watson Collegiate Classic
- She crossed the finish line at 22:14, her best 6K time of the year
