2025 SSAC Women's XC Scholar-Athlete Team & Scholar-Athlete of the Year Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
William Carey’s Kristina Stojanovic was named 2025 SSAC Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The junior business administration major posted a 3.56 GPA. On the course, she paced the field at the SSAC Championship with a time of 22:17 to earn the Individual Championship and Runner of the Year honors.

Additional Notes
  • Atkins, Mitchell and Gray all sport 4.0 GPAs, while Britt has a 3.8 mark
  • Everyone on the team placed in the top-13 at the SSAC Championship to earn All-Conference honors
  • To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
  • Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
