MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2024 competitive cheer season is getting started, with one SSAC team already underway and others getting ready to start competition. 
 
UT Southern Opened In Kentucky
 
The Firehawks finished 2^nd out of eight teams at the Tiger Invite over the weekend. They posted a score of 88.23, just 1.05 behind Georgetown. 
 
Openers
 
Feb. 1-2 | Battle in the Big Easy – Loyola, Keiser and Mobile will all compete
 
Feb. 23 | Ram Showdown – Warner will open their season
 
Feb. 24 | Point and Life will battle in Marietta, Ga.
 
2024 SSAC Championship
 
The 2024 SSAC Championship will take place Saturday, March 9 at Life University in Marietta, Ga. 
 
Affiliates
 
Florida Memorial, Keiser and Warner are all affiliate members with the SSAC for competitive cheer.
