Middle Georgia Wins 2023 SSAC Softball Championship

DECATUR, Ala. – No. 2 seed Middle Georgia State defeated Mobile 11-0 (5) two win the 2023 SSAC Softball Championship, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. The Knights earn an automatic bid to the 2023 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round.
 
It is the first SSAC Softball Championship for the Knights.
 
How It Happened
  • The Knights erupted for 10 runs in the fourth inning on the strength of eight hits. Alexis Cosgrove started the scoring in the inning with a RBI double and after a sacrifice, nine-straight Knights reached base
