MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Julianna Thames of Faulkner (Ala.) was named NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week, for the week of Feb. 20-26.
 
Julianna Thames (Faulkner – JR – P – Wetumpka, Ala.)

• Thames tossed a perfect game in a 4-0 win against Oakwood, striking out 10 across seven innings
• It was the first perfect game for Faulkner in 14 years
• It is the first national weekly award for a Faulkner softball player since Courtney Barber in 2010
