MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Blue Mountain (Miss.) swept the SSAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, with Victor Lopez being named SSAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week and Tsveti Trifonova being named SSAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
 
The awards are based on performance for the week of Feb. 13-19.
 
Victor Lopez (Blue Mountain – JR – Barcelona, Spain)

• This is his first-career honor
• Lopez won 6-2, 6-4 in singles and 6-0 in doubles v. NCAA II Spring Hill
• His win at No. 6 singles was the decisive victory in the 4-3 win for the Toppers 
   

Tsveti Trifonova (Blue Mountain – SR – Sofia, Bulgaria)

• This is her first-career honor
• Trivonova went 2-0 individually as the Toppers beat Spring Hill
• She won 6-1, 3-6, 10-4 at No. 1 singles and 6-0 at No. 1 doubles
