MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Middle Georgia State swept the SSAC Softball Player of the Week awards, with Emma Raulerson being named SSAC Softball Player of the Week and Beth Eddins being named SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
The awards are based on performance for the week of Jan. 31 – Feb. 6.
 
Emma Raulerson (Middle Georgia – JR – OF – Nahunta, Ga.)

• Raulerson helped the Knights to a 3-1 week, hitting .583 and slugging 1.083, while totaling seven hits, six runs and nine RBIs
• She scored and drove in a run in every game, highlighted by going 4-for-4 with three RBIs in game one v. Fort Valley State and 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBI in the finale v. Reinhardt

 
Beth Eddins (Middle Georgia – JR – P – Gainesville, Ga.)

• Eddins went 1-1 in a pair of starts for the Knights, logging 13 innings and walking only two
• In a shutout win v. Fort Valley State, she worked six innings of two-hit ball, while striking out five
