2026 SSAC Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete Team & Scholar-Athlete Of The Year Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2026 SSAC Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
William Carey’s Victoria Vieten repeats as the 2026 SSAC Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year after the senior posted a 3.62 GPA. On the courts, she earned SSAC Player of the Year honors and is ranked third in the ITA NAIA Individual Rankings

Additional Notes
  • Kang leads everyone with a 4.0 GPA
  • Lechuga teamed up with Vieten to earn SSAC Doubles Team of the Year honors, while Zivic was named Newcomer of the Year. All seven honorees earned First-Team All-Conference honors
  • To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
  • Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
