2026 SSAC Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team & Scholar-Athlete Of The Year Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2026 SSAC Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete Team and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
 
Point’s Jacob Joseph was named 2026 SSAC Men’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year after the senior financial management major posted a 3.65 GPA. On the course, the won the individual 2026 SSAC Men’s Golf Championship and earned First-Team All-Conference honors.

Additional Notes
  • Riddle leads with a 3.93 GPA, while Lambert has a 3.85 mark
  • Riddle earned First-Team All-Conference honors, while Gray received Second-Team recognition
  • To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing, must be starters or important reserves, have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and have competed in 50% of competitions
  • Graduate students and transfers must have completed one semester at the school
