MONTGOMERY, Ala. –William Carey leads the 2025-26 SSAC Commissioner’s Cup standings at the conclusion of the winter season. The commissioner’s cups are presented by Zest Culinary Services.
William Carey stayed on top after claiming titles in men’s basketball and women’s indoor track & field, while Life won the men’s indoor track & field title.
About The Award
- The scoring formula evaluates the percentage of potential points earned by each institution in the sports it sponsors, and bonus points are given for sports sponsored and conference tournament titles won
- For sports that have standings, the final regular season standings are used and then a team gets a bonus point for winning the tournament
- For sports that do not have regular season standings, like golf, cross country, etc., the finish at the championship is used
