MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The seventh slate of 2026-27 SSAC Games of the Week, presented by Herff Jones, were announced.

Men’s Soccer: Saturday, October 24 | Xavier at William Carey | Hattiesburg, Miss.

• This contest will likely be a must-win for William Carey if they want a shot at hosting a quarterfinal in the opening round of the conference tournament.
• A high scoring affair will be what Xavier is looking for as they have outscored opponents 16-8 in their current five-match unbeaten streak.
• Unbeaten in their last six, the Crusaders are hitting their stride at the right time, having allowed just five goals in conference play this season.

Women’s Soccer: Saturday, October 24 | Xavier at William Carey | Hattiesburg, Miss.

• This game will likely determine the second seed in the tournament. William Carey sits on 30 points, while Xavier is right behind on 28 heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
• Xavier is second in the nation in scoring with 98 goals on the season, but they were held to just eight shots their last time out against UT Southern.
• William Carey is third nationally in scoring with 92 goals scored. The Crusaders have had at least 10 shots on goal in each of their last six games.

Volleyball: Saturday, October 24 | William Carey at Mobile | Mobile, Ala.

• Both teams are 9-2 in conference play, but Mobile's ability to win in either three or four sets have boosted them to the top of the conference. Four of William Carey's nine league wins have gone the distance.
• The Crusaders might be the hottest team in the conference at present, winning six straight, including four 3-0 wins in their last five. Rachel Stegall is putting up 3.36 kills per set this season to lead the way.
• Mobile leads the league in most every statistical category. Kaylin Johnson is averaging 3.51 kills per set, while Hope Blaylock is putting up 3.56 digs per set.
