MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Life was the unanimous favorite to win the inaugural Southern States Athletic Conference Men's Wrestling Championship, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

The 2027 SSAC Men's Wrestling Championship will be held at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl February 20 in Montgomery, Alabama.

Omi Acosta, Life Head Coach: "I am humbled and honored that we were selected as the preseason favorites to win the conference. I appreciate the recognition, but at the end of the day, preseason rankings are just opinions. We still have a lot of work to do. Our goal remains the same: to become the best versions of ourselves, both on and off the mat. We will continue to work hard, grow together, and represent Life University with pride. That is what LUCHA is all about."
