MONTGOMERY, Ala. – UT Southern’s Ashley Dickey was named NAIA Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced.
The awards are based on performance for the week of Jan. 19-25.
Ashley Dickey (UT Southern – SR – G – Baltimore, Md.)
- In a 2-0 conference week, Dickey averaged 19 points, 11.5 rebounds, 7.0 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest
- The week was highlighted by a triple-double against ABAC with 14 points, 10 steals and 10 rebounds
- She added a double-double of 24 points and 13 boards v. Thomas
