MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Lauren Entremont of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Nerea Pallas Padilla of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Sept. 15-21.
Offensive: Lauren Entremont (William Carey – FR – FWD – Brandon, Miss.)
- This is her first-career weekly honor
- Entremont totaled five goals in a 2-0 week for the Crusaders
- She tallied a hat trick in a 3-0 win over 19th-ranked Georgia Gwinnett
Defensive: Nerea Pallas Padilla (William Carey – SO – GK – Valencia, Spain)
- This is her second-career honor
- Padilla picked up a pair of shutout wins on the week, totaling seven saves
- She delivered a six-save shutout in a 3-0 win over No. 19 Georgia Gwinnett
