2025-26 SSAC Men's Golf Players to Watch

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Below are the Southern States Athletic Conference Players to Watch for the 2025-26 men’s golf season. 
 
Each team selected one newcomer and one returner to feature. The SSAC men’s golf championship takes place April 13-15 at RTJ Cambrian Ridge.  
 
Abraham Baldwin

Stewart Rustin
SR, Columbus, Ga.

-Team Captain for the 2025-26 Stallion team.
-Tied for second in last year’s ABAC Spring Invitational with a three-day score of 218, 2-over par.
-Shot a 69, his lowest round of the year, in the final round of the SSAC Championship last April, vaulting him to an eighth-place finish, the best among ABAC golfers.

SO, Perry, Ga., Savannah State

-Played at Perry High School and led Panthers to second and third-place finishes in the Georgia High School Association state tournament.
-As a freshman at Savannah State, carded the team’s second-lowest total in the SIAC Conference Championship last April.

-As a freshman last year, Alex, proved he has the skills to be great in the SSAC, being named to the SSAC All-Freshman team.
-This year we are expecting a great season for Alex and like what he does on and off the course for our team.

-Simon is a freshman that we are excited about for this upcoming.
-Simon has already shown in the preseason that he can be a huge asset to the team.

-Coming back for his third season with BPCU, coming off a wrist injury last season.
-Alternated between the one and two spots for the Barons when healthy.
-Coach expects great things from him this season, believing he will bring more consistency to the team.

-Nick finished 34th out of 145 players in the 2025 NJCAA D1 Men's National Championship.
-Won his first collegiate event as a freshman while at Enterprise State CC.

-Entering his final year Nathan has improved each year to reach the top spot on the team. He has yet to win a collegiate event but consistently finishes in the top 10
