2024-25 SSAC Men's Basketball POTW - No. 16, Presented By WinWon

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the SSAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Vincent Douglas of Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) was named SSAC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week and Chaze Harris of Life (Ga.) was named SSAC Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
The awards are based on performance for the week of Feb. 10-16.
 
Vincent Douglas (Blue Mountain – SR – G – Mobile, Ala.)
  • This is his first-career weekly honor
  • Douglas logged all 40 minutes and scored 34 points in a 90-82 win over Brewton-Parker
  • He shot 72% from the field and 56% from 3-point range
 
Chaze Harris (Life – JR – G)
  • This is his fifth weekly honor this season
  • In a 2-0 conference week, Harris averaged seven steals, seven defensive boards and one block per contest, while also chipping in 24 points and 7.5 assists per game
  • He tallied 25 points, eight boards, seven assists and seven steals v. Middle Georgia and 23 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and seven steals v. ABAC
