William Carey Wins Fifth-Straight SSAC Women's Soccer Championship

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Top-seeded William Carey won its fifth-straight SSAC Women’s Soccer Championship Saturday, besting No. 2 seed Life 2-0.
 
After a scoreless first half, Virginia Mesa found the back of the net just 1:24 into the final period when she headed home a corner kick from teammate Boo Mills.
