Full Results) Mobile beat Loyola by one point, 51-52, to win the 2025 SSAC Men’s Cross Country Championship Friday at Oakville Indian Mounds Park. UT Southern’s Frank Kipruto won the individual title with a time of 25:08.43, 10 seconds ahead of second place.
The Rams win their second-straight championship. The one-point finish is the closest finish since 2016 when Bethel and William Carey tied.
Mobile had three runners finish in the top nine and four in the top 13, while Loyola had two in the top 10 and four in the top 12.
Qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Championship will be announced in the coming week, with the team champion earning a bid and the top four individual finishers not on the winning team will earn individual bids.
