MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Alessia Navarro of William Carey was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Elora Niederpruem of Life was named SSAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Oct. 27 – Nov. 2.
Offensive: Alessia Navarro (William Carey – JR – MID – Caracas, Venezuela)
- This is her second honor this season
- Navarro produced two goals and one assist in a win over Faulkner
- WCU won 7-0 in the first round game of the SSAC Women’s Soccer Championship
Defensive: Elora Niederpruem (Life – SO – GK – Marietta, Ga.)
- This is her fourth award this season
- Niederpruem delivered a six-save shutout in a 3-0 win over Thomas
- The effort sends Life to the semifinals of the SSAC Women’s Soccer Championship
