MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Aidan Furukawa of SCAD Savannah was named SSAC Men’s Bowler of the Week and Daniela Gonzalez of SCAD Savannah was named SSAC Women’s Bowler of the Week. The awards are based on performance for the week of Nov. 10-16.
Aidan Furukawa (SCAD Savannah – SO – Sunbury, Ohio)
- This is his third all-time honor
- Furukawa finished 11th at the NAIA BCA Invite I & II with a pin average of 208.4
- Helped the Bees to a fourth-place finish Saturday and team title Sunday
Daniela Gonzalez (SCAD Savannah – SR – Bogota, Colombia)
- This is her first-career honor
- Gonzalez finished 4th at the NAIA BCA Invite I & II with a pin average of 200.8
- She was named to the All-Tournament Team and helped the Bees to a team win
